Post Family Farm
Our field trip to Post Family Farm was so much fun! We were able to play, pick pumpkins, munch on yummy donuts and so much more!
Georgetown Fire Dept
We had a great time meeting the fire fighters from the Georgetown Fire Dept! We learned a lot about fire safety and we were able to check out all of their gear!
Fall in Room 1
It has been a great fall! The kiddos have loved getting to know one another and have learned so much already! :) Here are a few miscellaneous pictures from this year!

Welcome!
Dear Kindergarten Families,
Welcome to our classroom blog! On this blog I will post pictures periodically from our days! Although I didn't use this blog very much last year in 4th grade, I plan on using it this year! :) Please feel free to share this link with family and friends!
I hope you all have had a great summer filled with sunshine, family time, and lots of ice cream! My husband and I have enjoyed a few mini-trips around Michigan. I ran my first 10K this summer, spent time at my parents cottage, and I also had the pleasure of running Camp Read all summer at Bursley! :) If I was lucky enough to see your child there, I hope they enjoyed themselves!

The Amazing Michigan Race!
Read! Read! Read!!: That has been our motto since learning about our newest reading unit!
The students have been organized into teams. Their team goal is to read enough pages to "travel" around Michigan. 1 page=.5 mile. They stop at Michigan landmarks along the way!
Their personal goal is to read a book from 9 different genres.
