Janessa was our first star student! We loved seeing all of her pictures and learning more about her! 

Josh was our next star student! We loved hearing about his love for sports!

A Positive Environment

The past few weeks we have spent a large amount of time talking about being positive role models and bringing others up! 

One way we have been talking about thisis through writing. Every Monday is "Motivational Monday". I will play a short video or story and then they will be given a prompt. We started out the year with a Kid President video. The students thought he was funny and inspired them to think about what they should say more often!

We also made affirmation envelopes. The students are allowed to write  positive compliments to one another!
