Happy Thanksgiving

Wishing all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Over the past few weeks we have enjoyed learning about turkeys, the first thanksgiving, and of course making a few crafts to go along with our learning! We loved seeing all of the kiddos feathers and reading about Pete the Cat and The First Thanksgiving. We also enjoyed spending some time on Tuesday to make a turkey glyph and turkey hats! 

We also took some time to share things that we were thankful for! :)

Superstar Student

Last weeks Superstar Student was Vienna! We had so much fun learning about Vienna's favorite things!

This weeks Superstar Student is Addison! We loved looking at the pictures Addy brought in, reading the story she brought: Princess and The Pea, and learning how to spell her name!

This week we began our second science unit of the year! We are learning about gravity and how it effects our lives!

Second Step

Today we visited Mrs. Dudick's classroom for Second Step. We gathered with the other Kindergarten classes to talk about feelings. Miss Douglas taught us today! We enjoyed talking about feelings and next week we will learn strategies to help us when we feel frustrated!
